•  Standard: 3 days, two primary instructors + HC assistant instructors, 30 hours with 10-14 teams, or 4 days, 36 hours with 8-10 teams. Unlimited observers.

Standard Air Scent Seminar:

This seminar is for the beginning team who wants to learn the skills necessary for wilderness work. As a handler, you will learn the basics of navigation, scent theory, map reading, compass, GPS, map/area segmentation and search strategy, among others. As a team, you will learn to read your dog and understand the importance of a reliable re-find and learn how to achieve this.

This seminar is designed for teams desiring challenging training exercises. With a low student/instructor ratio and the help of High Country assistant instructors, be ready to work. Students are video-taped as they work. The tapes are reviewed and discussed by the group. These seminars are very intense and we work until you've had enough.
