Water Search Seminars 

  • 2 days, 20 hours with 10-14 participants. Unlimited observers

This course examines the skills needed for drown person recovery where a water search dog is most effective. One-on-one instruction, guidance and demonstration provide the students with individual attention. Building the foundation, training the alert, reading complex water movement, marking indications, training logs and problem solving are just some of the topics covered. All levels of search dogs are accepted.

This course can be helpful to a dog team just starting that wants to obtain a solid foundation or the search dog already started on water that wants to fine-tune skills for water search.
