Sarah Griffel-Thompson is a large and small animal veterinarian practicing in south eastern Idaho for 9 years. She is a member of the Idaho Veterinary Management Team which trains veterinarians to respond to threats of bioterrorism involving livestock. She and her husband also run a small family farm, growing potatoes, hay, grains and peas. She has been a canine handler for almost 3 years. Sarah is currently undergoing training for the reserve deputy program in her county. |

| Sarah's primary areas of interest outside of work are hunting, fishing, hiking and working her dog, Jenny. She joined High Country Search dogs in 2007 and was a member of Wyoming K9 Search and Rescue. Her current canine is Jenny, a three year old Bloodhound operational in trailing and cadaver search. | |
