Cris Goodhue lived in Wyoming for 18 years and has been living in Montana for the past 7 years.  Cris and her husband enjoy hunting, fishing and taking extended pack trips into the mountains with their horses and their dogs. Cris has grown up with both dogs and horses.  She has ridden horses since she was five years old.  She has raised and trained several horses of her own and has trained horses for other people.  Her riding skills range from mountain riding, packing and leading pack strings into remote mountain ranges to cutting and sorting cattle.

Her current dog, Osa is a 3 year old German Shepherd.

Osa is certified in Level II trailing, cadaver, HRD, water, evidence and narcotics.

Over the past 7 years she has taught search and rescue seminars throughout the western United States; assisting numerous dog teams in training and certifying their own dogs.

She has an unending passion for training dogs and for helping search and rescue handlers achieve their training goals.
